Prof. Yi Hongmei was approved for the 2023 major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for international cooperation and exchange.

Recently, Prof. Yi Hongmei's bid for the 2023 NSF Major Project "Research on the Stability Monitoring of Farmers' Income and the Long-term Mechanism of Income Increase under the Strategy of Rural Revitalization" and the 2023 NSF International Cooperation and Exchange Project "Study on Paths and Countermeasures of Rural Industry Transformation and Upgrading in the Context of Digitalization" were both approved. and the 2023 NSF International Cooperation and Exchange Program "Study on the Path and Countermeasures of Rural Industry Transformation and Upgrading in the Context of Digitalization" were both approved. The two projects will be carried out from 2024 to 2028, aiming to provide possible solutions for farmers with different characteristics to achieve sustainable income growth and move towards the road of common prosperity, and to provide scientific decision-making references for the successful transformation and upgrading of rural industries in the context of digitization in China and other developing-income countries, respectively.
