Wei Xie, Assistant Professor and Senior Research Fellow at the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences (SAAS), China Center for Agricultural Policy (CCAP) in Peking University. His research interests include food demand, supply, marketing, and trade analysis; economics of climate change and PE/CGE model. He visited University of Southern California, Purdue University and Development Research Center of the State Council of China recently to work on the theory and application of CGE models and policy analysis. He is the Co-PI of two major projects on economics of climate change funded by MOST of China, and the PI of one NSFC project. He is also the key researcher in more than 10 international and domestic projects. He has published 20 journal papers, of which 2/3 are published in SSCI/SCI journal. He has also submitted policy briefs to the government to aid policy decisions.
